Scottie and Nelly have been introduced to the fun of beads by their new friend Harper. They carry around little bags of “beans”.

Teddy has had a lot of fun with Alice this week-swimming, shopping, lunching, going to the barn. And we can walk to her house. As Colin pointed out Teddy and Alice are the new Jenny and MJ. I love it. Teddy provokes Alice, Alice polices him, Alice gets exasperated and Teddy acts up even more and they have a great time.
Alice “Teddy, stop that right now!! Stop that running around and touching those candy apples. Annie Lou is going to tell your daddy and he is going to get really mad that you’ve been behaving this way all day!!!!”
Teddy “It’s still just the morning.”
Alice “Teddy!! Stop it! Stop it now! Put down those pocicle sticks. You are not buying them.”
Teddy “Those pink popsicle sticks? They have no Popsicle. They aren’t popcicle sticks.”
Alice “What are they?”
Teddy “I don’t know”
ALB “They’re nail files.”
Alice “You’re still not buying them, Teddy!!!”
Teddy grabs them and runs away.
I had to go Into j crew to get Father’s Day gifts:
Teddy “I need to try on this shirt and this shirt and these sunglasses.”
Alice “Annie Lou!! We need to try on clothes for little girls and boys. I think a skirt,” she says hugging a child-size mannequin in a skirt and denim jacket.
Teddy “Yeah! Clothes for us! For the kids!!”
Then we went to dean and deluca. Both has to go to the bathroom so we were running to the bathroom.
Alice “Teddy, just hold it for minute til we get there!!!”
Teddy “I am!! See?” He says as he points with one hand to his other hand grabbing his wiener.

Teddy’s last day of school. He was so proud to be moving on to big kid school. He had such an amazing year. How we love Ms McCoy, Ms Brandt and Ms Karen and the Rainbow class.
We take each child to an end of the year dinner-Teddy asked for his to be at Cactus Cantina so we went and have him a certificate and a gift card to politics and prose (when I was buying teacher end of the year gift cards there he asked for it…and we went back the next day where he very thoughtfully chose books).
We organized ice cream with the other rainbows after school on the last day, and all around celebrated Teddy. He was so proud and we were all so proud of him.
