I love making gifts and writing letters for teachers for holidays and the end of the year. I want them to know we are so grateful for all they do for the children. This year was especially magical- Charlie and teddy has amazing classes with incredible teachers, friends and lessons (TK for teddy and TK for Charlie).
We for gift cards for the teachers, Charlie picked out candy to go with them, flowers for the front office and toys for Ms D’Cruz because she is taking both her children on a flight to India and needs activities (scotch tape and post its in addition to coloring books and other stuff. Kids love tape and when else do they get total access to their own roll?).
I wrote long letters telling the teachers how grateful we are. Charlie wrote a particularly sweet note to Ms Glen telling her “I love you and am so sad to leave NCRC. This is my saddest leaving. I want to stay but I have to go. I will miss you and will come back next year to visit.” He was so thoughtful
About what he said and insisted on making her a card rather than just writing in a store bought one.
Teddy wrote his name and drew picture of bees of each of his beehive teachers. He was so happy to do them and drew really cute little bees.
I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day. I can’t stop crying. It is so bittersweet.
