Ms Hundley so kindly came
Over to bake cookies and read stories. The kids loved it. (We won this at the Mann auction). It was so sweet. She was so patient with the small bakers. It can sometimes be like baking with raccoons-in a good way-when everyone helps

Charlie was soooo sweet and gentle teaching Nelly how to play soccer with her new princess soccer ball I got her. He even helped her put on her shoes.

Teddy was very busy yesterday after being picked up from school…he stopped to watch some water flow down the street, then jumped over it, then dragged some rocks through it; petted a little lab puppy and it’s mommy through a fence; sat on a wall for a cookie and to observe WASA working on our street; assisted the photographers who were shooting our kitchen; received a thank you note from his friend Tate. Phew. A lot going on.

Scottie came with me to vote (for Muriel Bowser). “Lub voting!”
I love going places with each child. So nice to have such a pleasant companion along and one that I lub so much.

Uncle Herb came from Paris to visit. Teddy and the girls said “bonjour.” Then Charlie played “Jingle Bells” on
The guitar. Not to be outdone, Teddy gave it a shot on a plastic sax. Then the rest of the family jumped in. All to impress our guest.

Pity the fool. Hardly. We’ve had the best April Fools Day. We snuck over to Lowell and his stuffed animal “drivers” in Grandpa’s car so he’d see them when he set off this morning and we hid a hydrangea plant in Mitzi’s shower that said “April showers bring May flowers; we put little stickers on all the credit cards and ID in MJs wallet; I stayed up til midnight last night happy that I could make rainbow loom bracelets for each classmate that Charlie hid in a package of broccoli that he brought to class; Teddy woke charlie up telling him it was snowing; I put googley eyes on the milk bottle and filled the cheerio box with clementines so when the kids went to pour cereal oranges came tumbling out.
