Scottie and Nelly, like theirs brothers and mother before them, change their clothes about twenty times a day and at least sixty percent of the time are in costumes.

Charlie is so into skiing. It’s so cool. He talks about it so much and keeps asking to go back and as he was falling asleep tonight said to me “When you’re going really fast and want to make a sharp turn you need to dig the edges of your skis in. I think I’ve done all the blues at Whitetail and need to move onto blacks.” He also added that he was better than me (pleased at the confidence but need to figure out how to teach him not to boast too much.)

Charlie apparently heard about Adam and Eve somewhere and asked me to tell him about the story. I told an abridged version. He asked me
If they had been real people and I said I didn’t know but that the story was really to teach us about God and how he wanted us to be good people. Charlie said
“Well, there are three lessons from this story: Do what God tells you to do, be a good person, and don’t eat wild fruit.”
Two minutes after he said “Um, I think I’m going to have a nightmare. ”
ALB” Oh, about the snake?”
Charlie “Yes. Are there poisonous snakes around here? Are pythons able to camouflage themselves? What color are boa constrictors?”
