Today was the perfect day. We got to co-host the donuts and football party with Our friends Elizabeth and Dan in the park, eat dinner at Mitzi and grandpas, and had so much to be thankful for. Charlie has been more excited about Thanksgving and the donuts and football than about his birthday or Halloween. I loved watching him play today and get so excite about all his friends coming out. Oliver was in NYC but Charlie said “Mommy, when you get home from getting the donuts open up one of the boxes and take out a donut and put it in a bag and that one is for Oliver. ” I’m so proud of him for being such a thoughtful, loyal and devoted friend.

At dinner tonight we held hands and then went around the table and said what we were thankful for. Teddy looked at me and said “I’m thankful for you.” My heart skipped a beat. I think thanksgiving is now my favorite holiday because we got to see so so so many of our good friends who we adore in the park, because I love seeing the kids be good friends and hosts and run around outside and play in the leaves and because I’m so thankful for my family and friends. There are so many people I love- what could be better than that?
