The boys like me to walk them into their classrooms instead of using the carpool lane. Today I took the babies with me. Charlie was beyond proud, running up to the door telling the head of school and everyone else “The babies are here!! The babies are here!!” He was beaming as he introduced them to teachers and friends. It warmed my heart. I wish I had been as kind and loving an older sibling as Charlie is. Sorry, Johanna and Georgia (especially for that time I threw a bottle of nail polish at you, Johanna, after you threw those scissors at me. Or was it the other way around?).
When we dropped Teddy in his room I kissed him goodbye, then Charlie came over and kissed him bye too. It was too much.
