Teddy found my stash of back up bunnies and said he wanted them
And I knew he had to have them. “Like these new fluffers,” he said about the new ones. The cuteness.

Teddy, the way you call ninjas “minjas” makes me not mind that you run around screaming about lost ninja Legos as much.

Twins love shoes and have been taking turns wearing a pair of too-big mary janes. And baretts. If one sees her sister with a barrett she will pat her head until you put one on her head and then she smiles and looks to you for a compliment. (You’re so vain you probably think this post is about you.)

There is always lots of kicking going on in our house but what I miss is the feeling of tiny baby feet kicking inside me before they were born. I remember each pair of feet so well. And the moment they were born and that amazing feeling of seeing someone you love more than imaginable for ten first time.

Scottie and Nell love books (to read or chew). Luckily we have big lift-the-flap books so they can both sit on my lap lifting flaps and only fighting over each page a little bit. Shown here on a diaper box and Nelly with Barquito.

Teddy’s teachers sent him pictures of the classroom and a description of what they were going to do (read, eat snacks, play on the playground). He was thrilled to see there was a Winnie the Pooh and a stuffed monkey in the room. Made transition soo much easie.

I hope I can give my littles enough time in the outdoors and in the country. I really want them to experience and love hiking and biking and swimming and nature. I try to point out birds and bugs and bees and flowed as often as possible. And to take them on walks and to farms. I wish I had had more time outdoors. I really love nature (just not the snakes part of nature) and ent them to as well.

It is so great that we live as close as we do to Montrose, Jam Pond, and Rock Creek. We are in there every day. It is pure bliss.
