Hannah came to town this weekend for a special trip to see the capitol and The Music Man with Mitzi and Grandpa. She also went on a social shopping trip with Mitzi and invited me along–I was so honored and flattered and had a lot of fun. She came and played with the babies and the boys and we went with her swimming. She is so sweet, and lovely, and smart, and thoughtful–we love her so much. I can’t wait for Milly to come visit on a special trip.
Teddy is beyond thrilled to be going to the NCRC end of the year pajama
Party. He says “I’m going to find honey everywhere and spill
It all over. “
I bought Nelly and Scottie a new little doll house. Their first real toy just for them. They seem to like it.
I often have the boys run races in the park because they think it’s fun and it let’s them get out energy. Today they ran and ran and then fell over and wrestled forever in the grass. I like to let them wrestle in a safe spot because they have so much fun doing it. I like to let them have as much fun as possible in general. Life for them
Can and should be fun. Teddy even used to say time outs were fun.
Charlie’s class is doing a little performance tomorrow followed by an end of the year party. While we were walking to the store he said “First we sing a song, then we show our pictures, then we do a show of not a box, then we sing a song and at the very end we have cupcakes. Only one for each person. Teddy can’t come cause he will try to eat all the cupcakes.” I told him if the rules are one cupcake per person then Teddy would also only have one. He said “teddy won’t know that. He can’t come. “
Copying Charlie’s trick of pretending to bite me but then kissing me, Teddy grabs my far in his hands and comes at me saying “except I could bite you,” and gives me a kiss. I love it. And today walking back from the park teddy and Charlie covered my arms in kisses. I was in heaven.
I love the way Teddy jumps into Charlie’s coach John class and plays with the big kids then runs out again to sit on my lap.
