I took Charlie to Saks the other day and said I was going to buy a purse. He said “You already have a purse.” Good point.

Then he saw a bejeweled Prada clutch, picked it up and said “This is beautiful.” Charlie, I like your taste.
As I spoke with the salespeople telling them why I liked or didn;t like a bag, Charlie started mimicking me and was picking up Valentino and Celine bags saying “This is hard and too small,” “This on is brown and not big enough.”

Then we went to the LV store. He had to go to the bathroom and when we walked in to their feel appointed accommodations he said “It smells great in here. Nice design.” Charlie’s aesthetic sense warm my heart.

Teddy has been asking me to turn on the hairdryer and blow the hair on his head, not that it’s wet, just because he likes it. He says “This silly” He needs his haircut because he looks like Brad Pitt in Moneyball.

Whenever you start singing Winnie the Pooh or Spiderman to Teddy stops what he is doing, gets a coy look on his face, and slowing dances by moving his shoulders up and down. To die for.

The girls really laughed together playing yesterday for the first time. They were both in Nell’s crib and both wanted to play with the same stuffed owl and kept going to grab it and making themselves laugh hysterically each time they went for it. I loved it.

MJ helped the boys make a basketball team with the mouse dolls yesterday. The cuteness was almost too much to bear.

Charlie set the table all on his own. He really loves when everyone eats dinner together at the big table.

At a birthday party two days ago, the kids where given breadsticks to use for “sword” fights. Charlie looked over at me and said “Mom, this is UNBELIEVABLE!” (shown making his Valentine’s and going on a walk with Meaghan)

Teddy has begun using a low voice to tell me about his sport playing ability. I passed him on the stairs this morning and he said as gruffly as he good “Going to play on my across team, mom.”
