Meaghan came to visit today and play with the boys in the park which prompted this conversations…

Charlie: “Why isn’t Meaghan our babysitter any more?”

ALB:” She is going to graduate school so has to spend her time studying but she will babysit again sometime.”
Charlie “She should babysit us again.”
ALB: “Should we tell her that.”
Charlie:” Yes. Wait no. Let’s let her be alone and think about it and she will decide to babysit us again.”

Scottie and Nell will not stop smiling. And they coo and try to talk back when you talk to them. Scottie tries to get Nell’s attention when they look at one another. They can hold their heads up and push up on their tummies. They love kicking their legs and waving their arms. They follow your around the room with their eyes. They are so good natured and easy going. When Nell gets fussy she pretty much stops the minute I put her in the Bjorn. And they have begun sleeping from 11 pm to around 5 or 6 am with only a little waking up in the night.

Charlie had his first dinner party last night. He asked Mitzy and Grandpa to stay for dinner and they said yes. He was so excited and set the table by getting forks and knives from the drawer on his own. Then put out napkins. The cried because he didn’t like the way Mitzy folded his napkin. Then sat to eat with everyone. Then had us go around the table giving toasts about people we liked. His was for firemen. I am so proud of him.

Yesterday when we went on a walk Teddy kept hitting his head against the stroller and saying “Owww. Kiss it.” I told him that he doesn’t have to get hurt to get a kiss and to just ask for a kiss. So funny he was doing this since I kiss him about 300 times a day anyway.

Tonight Teddy threw his bunny “Bunbun” out of his bed and said “No bunny.” What could be going on?
