Today Scottie and Nell looked pretty identical from the side. Their little heads and faces are changing. Will they look more or less alike? Either way, they are so cute I can’t stop looking at them.

We need to indicate which baby is which…so far we have had marker on Scottie’s big toe. I will start painting it pink (or maybe gold like mine). A doctor suggested buying her an anklet, but then only one baby would have jewelry.

Scottie and Nell have been napping best when they are together.

Four park police rode down our street on horseback the other day. Kitty Cat Gran took him outside to see them. On his way out he turned and ran back into the living room to grab his sword, knight hat and knight coat* to take with him. When he came back inside he dragged his rocking horse to the front door in an attempt to ride it down the street.

*Kitty Cat Gran got a child-size kimono from the Textile Museum or something and the boys wear it all the time as a “knight’s coat”. A great look.

Teddy held one of the babies feet and did “This little piggy went to market.” His version goes “This piggy market. This piggy market. This piggy market. This piggy none. This piggy home.” It is my favorite version.

Charlie is beginning to not sleep during nap time sometimes. He will wake Teddy up, put books in Teddy’s crib, all sorts of stuff. The other day he took all of his books off his shelf and got into the shelf with his pillow and blanket. Yesterday morning he called out for MJ to come get them up and when he didn’t hear back quickly enough, I heard him say “Teddy, your turn now. Yell loud.” Thanks, Charlie.

Charlie:”Are the babies made of glass?”

ALB: “No, they are made of the same thing as you.”
Charlie: “But the are fragile?”
ALB: “Yes, things don’t have to be glass to be fragile…”

When reading Richard Scary, one of Teddy’s favorite books, Teddy points out who he wants to be on each page. Yesterday he said “Boy pig! Boy pig!’ I can’t stop laughing about it.
