Today Charlie went to visit his grandfather Hon John at the courthouse. First he went into his chambers to hang out, then he spent some time in the courtroom, and then after asking where the bad guys go, he was taken to the two holding cels outside the courtroom. He didn’t want to leave but as we were going he said “When I get home I want to be a judge–wear a judge coat and a judge hat.”

In chambers he really liked the artifacts, like arrow heads and African gold weights sitting around and the small kitchen. In the jail cels he was visibly unsure and then said he was scared so we left. He asks lots of questions abut bad guys and where they go and what they do and said as we were leaving “I will hit the bad guys. That is a good idea.”
He had the best time in the courtroom where he sat in the chair and kept pressing the white noise button and did a fake trial with my dad. Below is the transcript from the testimony.
