At the Farm Institute today Teddy kept pointing at the baby pigs all together in a little pen and was trying to wriggle out of my arms to get to them. He cried when I wouldn’t let him get down with them. Who does he think I am?
I exclaimed the other day after missing a turn “I’m such an idiot, ” and Charlie asked “Why Mommy idiot?”
Reed has been up on the Vineyard hanging out (and celebrating his birthday-during which Charlie was amazingly cool about not getting gifts himself, golfing, swimming), much to everyone’s delight.
Teddy spoke his second word yesterday–“Huck.” He really loves her. They have some crazy bond going on. He leans over his high chair every time he easts dangling food and looking for her. Luckily she’s right there to accept.
Have spent the past week on the Vineyard. C, T, & H are so siked. They love living up here with Mitzi and Grandpa and having them around all the time to play with. The amount of fun is amazing.
Days 7-9 of MJ in France: We drove to Connecticut Friday handing T & C wrapped up gifts along the way. Once they tired of baby iPhones, markers, stickers, various rattles, and Wiggles DVDs, T started crying (and didn’t stop for about 6 hours) and C kept yelling out “Too busy for car seat,”–a sentiment I totally sympathize with. Huck slept on top of the luggage in the back. The trip took 9 hours thanks to traffic. I would not have made it without Johanna.
