Teddy is so happy that today at the doctor’s he smiled right through getting a shot.

During circle time at Blue Igloo today, Charlie raced over to get Teddy who was sitting in my lap to hold hands for the song where all the kids hold hands. So so sweet.
Yesterday I also took Teddy and Charlie to visit beautiful new Alice Birkenhead. The minute C saw her he yelled “Teddy!” and when we said, “No, that’s Alice.” He said ” Teddy brother,” and “Teddy matches.”
The other morning Charlie said to me “Pretty shirt.” I had no idea he even knew the word pretty, much less knew how to pay a compliment. Thanks, Charlie.
T loves, I mean loves to kick his legs in his bath. He also loves to watch everything his brother does. And he loves when his father talks like a parrot, mimicking the parrot-like sound T has started making. So many things to love.
Charlie believes that there is a “baby” version of every adult thing*. He ask for his “baby hammer”, “baby skewdriber”, “baby football”, and now he has added “baby wine” and “baby coffee”. He thinks sparkling water is “baby wine”.
The other day I was going to drive Colin home and Charlie really wanted to come so I put a hat and coat on him but now shoes and as we were driving he said “Feet cold. Hold them” , which I did for a minute til I deemed it too unsafe.
T love lying down to kick and shake his head back and forth and back and forth. And he is really interested in the crinkly pack of wipes and keeps trying to grab it and chew it.
