Anytime music plays (and it can even be a cel phone ringtone) Charlie starts dancing. Today when I went up to get him out of his crib after his nap he said “Charlie. Dance party. Crib.” and then showed me how he had been dancing in his crib. He also got interested today in DJ’s headphones and records after he saw the image on a tee shirt.

Like Jonathan Adler or Alan Campbell, Teddy is really into textiles. He is driven wild by any fabric he can get his hands on. When he lies in bed next to be he goes crazy rustling the duvet. He reaches out for dish towels, grabs at my shirt, covers his face in any cloth diaper or blanket he can reach, It’s nice to know he’s passionate about something.

Unlike Huck, Teddy loves taking a bath. So much kicking. So much splashing. So much cute.

Mittens have been an ongoing problem. C has a love-hate relationship with them–he wants to wear them but then gets annoyed that the don’t fit right, fall off, have too small thumbs so he decides not to wear them, then his hands get cold and he gets mad. He has been asking me to rub his hands in his mittens to straighten them out. Today we got him a pair of the smallest gloves I have ever seen. He had us both put our on and then dance around.

Charlie loves his amazingly sweet and incredibly adorable cousins, Hannah and Milly so much, he had to do a little dance.

Charlie and to a lesser extent Teddy, had fun at the Prospect Park Zoo. Charlie claimed he saw a snake in the grass there but I’m not so sure about that. It was nice because we learned that Greg can jump as far as a wallaby. Hannah and Milly, if only there were more pictures of you.

Charlie and Teddy love the Highline. Charlie insisted in walking himself and on playing waiter at the tables and chairs.

Charlie likes taking the train to NY. Not sure if other passengers always like riding with us, but overall Charlie and Teddy are excellent travelers. Last weekend on the train, C really liked watching Thomas DVD and holding the tickets. He also thought the guy sitting in front of us was a soccer player and kept looking at him saying “Soccer man.” I think the guy was really flattered.

I’d day Huck isn’t in love with bathing. But she really likes how skinny she looks wet.
