T loves trying to grab everything. His favorite thing is to play on his mat and try to bat at the hanging rattles. He is sooo dreamy.

Carol gave Charlie (among other things) a small nutcracker ornament. Charlie has been carrying it everywhere and wants his “gracker man” to “watch eat” and “watch” in general. Today he wanted “gracker man” to take a nap so he put a blanket down and laid “gracker man” on it to sleep while he sleeps.
Because of my husband, sons, and Huck, my Hannukas, Christmases and birthdays keep getting better ever year. MJ is unfailingly thoughtful and generous. There is no better father and husband in the world. I hope everyday he knows how much I love him. Charlie and Teddy are unfailingly cute and sweet and funny. There are no better sons in the world and I hope everyday they know how much I love them (they better because I kiss them and tell them all day long. I’m sure they think I’m slightly uncool).
Charlie told me last night “Raul work Charlie Charlie’s office.” Then he listed what was in his office: “paper, crayon, hammer, screwdriver, wrench, reindeer, flag.”
Charlie is now asking, and sometimes demanding, “Party, Charlie party. Chips, cookies.” Party maniac. Reminds of someone else I know.
Charlie has been carrying his stuffed reindeer around with him and wants to talk about reindeer and Santa all the time (he sometimes thinks snowmen and santa are interchangeable). He got to go visit Santa at the mall today and was so excited , but then was disappointed there were no reindeer and kept asking “reindeer? reindeer” and looking around. Also, he would have nothing to do with sitting in Santa’s lap.
Today Charlie had the afternoon of his life playing in the snow with his favorite neighbors, the older boys Jack and Dylan.
Charlie likes to make Teddy, and other babies for that matter, laugh and then yells “baby happy!”
Charlie helped his father “shuble” the snow, went sledding for the first time ever, played with his friend Walker, and asked to eat “cwean know”. He had the best day (despite the tears again over wanting to wear the baby’s miittens). MJ and I were so desperate to walk around in the snow at night but couldn’t get a babysitter so we just stood outside the house in the snow for an hour like weirdos. But it was really fun.
