Yesterday, Charlie had the best day. In the morning he visited his great grandmother who he loves and in the afternoon he went to the Textile Museum with Pascal, Nola, and Rocco (time spent in exhibit: 5 min. time spent in the garden: 55 min)

Wild horses couldn’t drag him away…from these merry-go-round horses. The biggest obsession of all. C loves these. Started out loving to watch the bigger kids ride on them. The all he wanted to do was ride on them while we held him sitting on a horse. Now he demands to do it himself but since he can’t sit on the horse on his own, he stands and holds on.

Charlie really loves David Hicks, Kelly Wearstler, Billy Baldwin, Daryle Carter, Dorothy Draper (hence his trip to the Greenbrier), Sister Parrish, Elsie de Wolfe, Stephen Grambrel, and so many others. But sometimes, the fabric choices are overwhelming. He has really been working hard with the swatches for his parents bedroom.
